Dicha actividad se llevara a cabo del 17 al 22 de junio del año 2002 en sus instalaciones de la Unidad Cuernavaca. La escuela consistira de cuatro minicursos y platicas dirigidas a estudiantes de Matematicas y Fisica de posgrado o del ultimo anio de licenciatura, asi como a todos los profesores e investigadores interesados. The aim of the workshop is to present new results and trends in the various aspects of integrable systems, and to promote the interest in the subject among mathematicians and mathematics students from the developing countries in the region. The confirmed speakers for the workshop, each one of which will deliver a one hour lecture, are Luis Casian (Ohio State University) Yuji Kodama (Ohio State University) Nancy López-Reyes (ICIMAF, Cuba) Motohico Mulase (University of California, Davis) Jeffrey M. Rabin (University of California, San Diego) Barbara Shipman (University of Texas, Arlington) There will also be room for short talks of 20-30 minutes, and discussion sessions, and a small number of partial grants, mostly for graduate students, will be available.
